The Infernal Machine came in 3rd in the 13th TBS Digicon 6, Singapore edition

The Infernal Machine has won the 3rd place in the 13th TBS Digicon 6, Singapore edition. Though we didnt make it to the Asia region competition in Japan, I am really happy that our project make it to the top 3. I will continue to work harder with Harold and Yeow Kuang to produce more interesting animation.

Action / Body Mechanics Assignment

This is the compilation of body mechanics assignment that I did from planning to final. The whole body mechanics animation took 32 hours to complete.

Action / Body Mechanics Animation Test [Refined]

Refined Stage

This is the refined stage of my Action / Body Mechanics Animation Assignment. I have fixed the first jump over the box, reposed the fingers and cleaned up the arc of the character’s head. Initially, I have encountered problems with the first jump, the action seem to be popping and the switching of legs feels weird. So I went online to look for more parkour reference to study them and get the problem fixed. It took me 2 hours to refine the animation. The whole body mechanics animation from planning to refined stage took me 32 hours to complete.

Refined Stage

This is the refined version of the acting performance assignment. Things that I changed and refined are the head turning, lip sync and the hands playing with the skull. The reason why I added in the head turn in the beginning is to establish the character relationship with the off screen character that he is talking to. Took me 3 hours to refine. The total time spent for the clip is 25 hours, including 2 hours for planning and research.
